Science versus Religion

 Is it an inherent quality of man that he seeks to defy God?

He made night dark, so that man could rest and refresh himself for the next day!
Man made candles, and then light bulbs to make the night as bright as day!

He made the seasons, hot and cold; so that man would be tempered to change!
Man made air conditioners and heaters so that he would be comfortable no matter what the conditions outside!

He made the crops grow in fertile land;
Man made GM crops!

He made man and woman, so that they may have a happy union;
Man legalised same sex marriages!

Why is it that so many things that science generates seek to change the natural order of things? Why don't we marvel at the great scheme of design when the universe was created? Why instead do we seek an answer that proves that things that happen; happen as a consequence of something else?

An engine drives a shaft because of the ignition taking place inside the combustion chamber. The combustion is governed by certain laws of Physics. These laws of Physics were written by great men who conducted experiments and observed certain phenomenon.

Science did not, and cannot create things. What science did was to replicate the principles that were used to maintain the running balance of the world and applied them to further the cause of mankind.

A lot of the developed world today is making laws and regulations that defy the very essence of God and religion! In a liberated France, you do not have the liberty to dress as you wish! They proudly flaunt their freedom of expression by publishing insulting materials on Saints and Prophets; but their people are denied the freedom to wear a cross or a scarf over their heads!

When the sacred institution of marriage is modified to allow something that has explicitly been denied by the scriptures, we are altering the very fundamental building blocks of society! When a gay couple is allowed to wed in a Church; isn’t that a mockery of religion? And not just that; the greater danger is that we are changing the grand design of things without any idea of its consequences!

I wonder when will the time come when people will pause to think of what they have done! And I wonder will it be too later then? Will we have already set too far on the path of perpetual destruction?
